Redbud Cooperative

Established 1953

Welcome to Redbud

With 34 members, Redbud Cooperative is the largest house owned by Cornell University. We are a diverse group of graduate and undergraduate students with a wide range of backgrounds and interests. Our goal is to be a community that supports and enriches its members through thoughtful interaction, responsibility and generosity. At most times of the day, there are people around to engage in conversation or perhaps a game of pool. Often in winter, people are drawn to the fireplace in the living room, and when warm weather arrives they hang out in the back yard.

  • Rent includes room, all utilities, full meal plan and laundry.
  • Crammie-made house dinners happen six nights a week. Food for the remaining week is always available.
  • Our meal plan accommodates any and all dietary restrications (e.g. allergies, halal, vegan, etc.).
  • Each member shares responsibility for cooking, cleaning, and house maintenance.
  • Bi-weekly house meetings are held to determine house policy.
